The black and gold Lightning are men’s premium leather boots featuring a lightning bolt and side ankle zipper closure. Hand-made, Blake stitched leather sole with STH logo engraving and stacked heel. Blake construction allows for a resoleable boot because the outer sole is stitched directly to the upper. This enables durable and flexible, high-end boots.
BLAKE STITCHING:
Blake sole construction was designed in 1856 by the American sewing machine inventor Lyman Reed Blake. A single row of stylish chain stitching runs through the sole into the upper. Blake construction has become one of the more recognized and superior construction methods, even though most of its work is hidden under the foot.
